Day 9: Chureito Pagoda & Fuji Five Lakes

We rise early for one of Japan’s most iconic sights: sunrise over Mount Fuji, framed by the red tiers of Chureito Pagoda. As the first golden light strikes the mountain, it’s clear why this view has become a symbol of beauty, balance, and reverence.

After breakfast, we explore the Fuji Five Lakes region, where panoramic decks, tranquil cruises, and quiet shrines reveal Fuji’s story through water, forest, and reflection. By afternoon, we venture south to Hakone, where the striking torii gate of Hakone Shrine rises from the waters of Lake Ashi, with Fuji-san beyond—a vista as unforgettable as it is sacred.
