Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage

Arrive in Alaska’s vibrant gateway city and meet your expedition team for a welcome dinner in Anchorage. You’ll stay near Lake Hood, the busiest floatplane lake on Earth—a perfect place to photograph bush planes taking off into the crisp autumn air.

Day 2: Brooks Falls

Fly from Anchorage to King Salmon, then transfer by floatplane into the heart of Katmai National Park. Photograph the legendary fat bears of Brooks Falls—icons like 747 and 435 Holly—feasting at the salmon-choked river during peak season.

Day 3: Floating with Fat Bears

If World Untouched must reschedule a trip due to an unavoidable risk to travelers, you’ll receive a 100% credit of all payments made toward any future World Untouched trip. This credit is valid for one year from your original departure date. You’ll be notified directly by email if a reschedule is necessary.

If You Cancel:

  • Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred once to another traveler not already booked on that trip, subject to a $100 rebooking fee.
